Headlander Coming 2016
Double Fine Announces Headlander

Double Fine, the people behind Psychonauts, Brutal Legend and Broken Age, has announced a new game called Headlander.

This 2D side-scrolling sci-fi adventure is set to launch in 2016 and will be published by Adult Swim Games. Coming Metroid and Logan’s run you play a character who has never had their own body. Your character wakes up in a helmet and must discover who they are.
Armed with a jetpack-thruster throat players can take control of other robo-citizens and use their abilities for yourself. However combat isn’t the biggest part of Headlander, with discovery and problem solving taking up most of your time. Enemies hold keys into unlocking new areas of the station, making control rather than destruction a much more valued option.
Headlander will have a lively world to explore. While discovering new areas and unlocking more abilities you’ll learn more about your amnesiac protagonist. The robot citizens will have conversations and response differently based on your body.
