How to Unlock First Person Mode in The Evil Within 2

The Evil Within 2 is meant to be played in third-person with a few first-person sections. However, in the PC version, gamers can play the entire game in first-person.

Now there's no official way to unlock this mode. To change the perspective players must:

Open the console
Put in command pl_FPS 1

Doing this will unlock the entire game in first-person. As shown in the gameplay footage by YouTuber SkacikPL the game works perfectly well in first-person. It's strange that it wasn't included as a bonus feature but perhaps it was meant to be added later or may be used for testing.

The Evil Within 2 is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
