Insurgency: Sandstorm Receives Teaser Trailer

While not the most polished title at release, 2014's Insurgency did provide gamers with a more realistic take on the modern military shooter, managing to build a community that plays the title to this date. The team behind it, New World Interactive, are currently working on a follow-up titled Insurgency: Sandstorm. Published by Focus Home Interactive, the title "brings extended gameplay possibilities, improved immersion, as well as new co-op and versus objective-based game modes―all while retaining the lethal tactical action that made Insurgency the worldwide phenomenon it is today."

Insurgency: Sandstorm is built in Unreal Engine 4. The title will allow for 16v16 battles with "artillery barrages, helicopter gunships, repurposed commercial drones, air strikes, and drivable land transport vehicles.". Players will need to take things like bullet drop, penetration power and remaining rounds in the magazine into consideration when making decisions. Have a look at the teaser trailer.
