Metal Gear Solid V Update Now Live

A new update is scheduled for Metal Gear Solid V today, adding new FOB missions, weapons and items.

The Event FOB missions will allow players to steal materials and kidnap staff without the risk of enemy players seeking retribution. Those on the receiving end can take out an insurance FOB plan. This will cover all your losses with the exception of wounded staff, those in prison, and nuclear weapons. If you avoid detection from enemy AI players they will not alert players to your operation, allowing players to steal resources undetected.

New combat deployment missions will be available and players can shorten the time to complete this missions using MB coins. This feature also extends to building FOB platforms as well.

Certains weapons can now be upgraded to Grade 7 status, some examples are the AIR-S, Hail MGR-4, and the AM MRD-71. Big Boss isn’t the only one getting updated equipment, security staff can now be outfitted with NVGs to defend your bases. 

Other changes include:

- New UI elements.

- Online GMP limit increased.

- Prioritizing Security Team Staff Option.

- New staff sorting options.
