Pokémon Go Glitch Allows Your Eggs to Defend Gyms

The latest glitch in Pokémon Go allows you to use your Pokémon Eggs to defend gyms, and they're undefeatable. 

The exploit allows you to take over a gym and place an egg to defend to territory instead of a Pokémon. Since Eggs don't have any stats or abilities the game cannot register them as active fighters, making them impossible to challenge.

Making the issue more vexing is that other members of the same team can add their Pokémon to the gym, making it impossible for players to take the territory and allow those who've claimed the gym to reap the benefits.

Before you attempt to do the same and gain some easy Pokémon Coins a word of warning. Niantic is cracking down on cheaters and resorting to permanently banning those who use exploits.
