Russia Will Remain Part of Steep's Road to the Olympics Expansion

The International Olympic Committee barred Russia from the 2018 Winter Olympics for a widespread doping scandal 2 days ago. This prevented all competitors and officials who wear a Russian flag from participating in the Pyeongchang, South Korea games. When questioned about the recent release of Steep's Road to the Olympics expansion Ubisoft confirmed they will not remove Russia from the game's expansion.

"There are no existing plans to patch Russia out of Steep Road to the Olympics," Ubisoft told Gameinformer when asked about the news.

Steep: Road to the Olympics released on December 5 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Steep is planned for the Nintendo Switch but not the expansion.
