Sony's PlayStation Experience held in Anaheim, California was much more lowkey than previous years. This event was more focused on announced games such as The Last of Us 2 and Shadow of the Colossus PS4 instead of massive reveals. Insomniac Games and Marvel were on hand as well to give fans a look behind the scenes of their anticipated game, Spider-Man.
The new trailer focus on the origins and dilemma between Spider-Man and Peter Parker. Showcasing Peter Parker as an everyday teenager with real-world problems and Spider-Man carrying the weight of being a hero. It also shows the game's villain, Martin Li better known as Mr. Negative, in a relatable light. Highlighting his successes as an entrepreneur and humanitarian and the risks Spider-Man faces for taking him down, essentially crippling all the good he does for the city as well.
Sony and Insomniac didn't drop any new information regarding the game but it helped humanize Spider-Man and showcase the amount of passion the developers have for the hero.
Spider-Man PS4 will launch for the PS4.
