World At War Final Fronts is the PS2 version of world at war only differnece is that in Europe thre is a British campaign not a Russian. The addition of the Pacific war against the japanese is great and with the addition of the flamethower and night missions. Are all great addition to the game and give it a new feel. Also the enemy is very cunning using tactics like boobie traps hiding in grass and trees and playing dead.
The European part i was expecting to be fighting as a russian in Berlin but instead it was a british campaingn in Bastogne and the Rhine. To me this felt alot like Cod Big red one here in the snow same type of missions blowing up the rockets through houses even a few characters all looked alike from cod 3 think the US sargent was one of the marines and the scottish one was one of the main british soldiers as well and the soldiers name text is too small.
This to me gave me the idea it was rushed the put in the european part taking bits and pieces from older games and battles and placing them in this game and leaving out other modes like vechiels operation only one tank mission again.
I think that Cod should have left out the european side if they wern't going to add Berlin and focused 100% on the pacific adding fights in Singapore and PNG with a Australia prospective.
it is certainly a visable contrast between the two campaigns even soem cutsceens in Europe are not very good and the whole feel its rushed and just put together any old how.
But other wise it is pretty much a good game alot like the other versions but a good game either way. 7/10
My 3 Stars
3- European use of old battles and even game charcters
2- Poor European Campaign
1- Good addition of Pacific conflict, Better Enemy intellengince
