X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Superhero games are fun playing if the pieces are put together well. After Batman Arkham Asylum, X-Men Origins- Wolverine is the game I’ve really enjoyed playing. You may point out that the game was made based on the Wolverine movie, which makes things predictable but in reality it wasn’t that predictable at all. In fact, there are scenarios which will surprise you unless you have seen all the X-Men Wolverine animation series. I won’t ruin the fun getting in the details of the story. So here’s why I liked the game.
The Good:
- Hack and Slash at its best. Wolverine is deadly and invincible. So you can easily guess, how extreme it can go.
- Sooth story line. Mix of the movie, comic and unknown.
- Combat can go very detail and plenty of options of attack/defense during fight.
- Boss fights are pure tactical, which double the fun. And, variety of enemies.
- Plenty of unlockables, including bonus gameplay.
- Original actor’s voice was used for Wolverine.
The Bad:
- Graphics is poor. Specially characterization.
- When doing acrobats for reaching one platform to another, camera movement is a big pain.
- No quick save, which may lead you back to a critical stage which took you several tries to pass.
- Not PC friendly control (I had to plug in my USB joystick after playing for few hours).
- Auto camera mode at some stages while running away from something.
The game isn’t expensive and can be found at any store. If you are a fan of GoW, DMC or any similar game, I highly recommend you to try this game.
