While many of us have adapted to the downloadable content generation, not all of us have grown equally acceptant. Cue the PC master race and their olden ways of releasing free content updates called “patches” and other archaic ideas. These people and console purists will enjoy DLC Quest, a parody game revolving around social commentary on games being chopped into parts for nickel and dime tactics. Players are forced to buy more overpriced and overhyped content for each step they want to take into the world or just to add nothing of value whatsoever. This charming 2D platformer will offer spoofs of many genres in every direction of its short game. Fitting for the bit-part game they want to present, an entire walkthrough of the game takes anywhere between 15 minutes to a maximum of just half an hour. Therefore, we ran through the whole thing for your viewing entertainment, which you can find below.
