Set-Up and Interface

The SNES Classic will include HDMI cables and a home menu to access all the games. Like the NES Classic games will be sorted on a menu with 4 internal slots for each game for player's to save data on. Unlike the NES Classic, which had a short cable, the SNES Classic will have a 5 feet cable for the controller.

Players can set a custom border for 4:3 games, CRT filers, and rewind feature for all games.

Where can I find One?

The SNES Classic console is in short supply but is available for $80 USD starting September 29 at all major retailers. Unfortunately, unless you preordered the console obtaining one will be difficult. The NYC Nintendo Store will have constant supplies of the system but at a first come first serve basis. As someone who waited in line for hours only to be told by NYC Nintendo Store staff that the console was sold out getting one will be a vexing challenge.

More are Coming

While supplies are limited now Nintendo has confirmed that they plan to release more consoles next year. This includes the previously canceled NES Classic.

The SNES Classic launches on September 29th.
