Killer Instinct Retail Version Announced With Bonus Season 2 Fighter

Microsoft and Iron Galaxy have announced that a special retail version of Kill Instinct will be releasing on September 23 for $19.99. Called "Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack" this new version of the game will come loaded with eight fighters from Season 1. That's Jago, Sabrewulf, Thunder, Sadira, Orchid, Spinal, Glacius, and Fulgore. Microsoft is also including a code for a bonus fighter from Season 2, TJ Combo. 

The digital Combo Breaker Pack, which includes only the eight Season One characters, has an identical $20 price tag and no access to TJ Combo. Perhaps Microsoft or Iron Galaxy will address this issue or maintain this offer as a retail exclusive.

Killer Instinct was first announced at E3 2013, and was released exclusively as a launch game for the Xbox One on November 22, 2013 in North America as a free-to-play downloadable game.
