Boo Bunny Plague Available Now on Steam - Looks Like Silly Fun

Available now on Steam, Boo Bunny Plague looks like silly fun.

On the Level Game Studios, the folks behind last year's survivor horror golf game, The Curse of Nordic Cove,  have released their latest title, Boo Bunny Plague. Their newest title is the studio's first game to release on Steam, with thanks owed to the ever popular Greenlight program.

Boo Bunny Plague reads as ridiculous, and it looks just as entertainingly silly. A "Genre-Bending Musical Adventure," Boo Bunny Plague has players controlling a toy bunny. Sounds cute, however, this bunny isn't like the fluffy creatures we imagine, as he towers at six feet tall and just happens to be a robot. Simply going by Bunny, our protagonist was given life by a computer virus, and soon he realizes he's not as tough as he'd once believed.

Exposing corruption brought on upon "THE ULTIMATE VILLAIN of the KNOWN UNIVERSE, and Earth!" Bunny teams up with three friends, Gunny, Faye and Ganesha, and the quad goes on an adventure, attempting to save the universe and seek justice for the crimes committed by the ultimate villain.

Armed with a multitude of guitars as weapons, players will bash down enemies, all while experiencing a story through musical numbers. "A ridiculous adventure through space and time" where "players can expect to be serenaded and/or bewildered," Boo Bunny Plague appears to be one seemingly goofy game.

Level Game Studios' last game, The Curse of Nordic Cove, was less than mediocre, scoring only 50/100. Nonetheless, it had its value, entertaining me for hours with numerous in-game activities. Even with this near fail, I still have the urge to check out the indie studio's latest game, mostly because a guitar wielding, robot bunny sounds prettying freaking hilarious, and I could use a good chuckle.

Boo Bunny Plague is currently on sale for 25% off, and is available for $3.74 until September 11. It's probably not the game for everyone, but if you're interested in learning more, check out the trailer here.
