Mirage: Arcane Warfare Goes Free For A Day, Price Drop To Follow After
Add Mirage: Arcane Warfare to your Steam library later today, keep it forever.

While playing it for our Mirage: Arcane Warfare Review, I had a blast with Torn Banner Studios' newest title. A stylish game, with visceral, meaty combat, Mirage: Arcane Warfare never quite managed to get a proper, stable community. In hopes of rekindling its flame, the game will be free for a day on Steam, starting today, the 6th of September, at 10am Pacific Time. Adding it to your library during this time period will make sure the game stays there after it's gone. In their announcement, the studio stated the following:
"Mirage launch sales were poor. That sucked, and we know it. Our company's doing fine, and we'll be able to continue to make awesome games in the future.
More than anything, we're disappointed for the players who stuck by us and did buy Mirage - but who have struggled to find people to play against. We just want people to play the game we spent years making."
After the free period ends, Mirage: Arcane Warfare will also suffer a price drop, moving from its current $29.99 to $9.99 (or your regional equivalent). The Special Edition Upgrade, which includes a copy of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, will retain it's price of $9.99. Since launch, Mirage: Arcane Warfare has received new maps, character abilities, customization options and bots. Have a look at the full announcement.
