State of Decay 2 Release Date Revealed

Undead Labs and Microsoft Studios has finally unveiled when State of Decay 2, along with a gameplay trailer. Today the developer confirmed to IGN it'll release May 22 for Xbox One and Windows 10.

State of Decay 2 will surely thrill fans, especially since Microsoft's console is starving for exclusive titles. The game will come in 2 editions, standard for $30 and Ultimate Edition for $50. The later till give players 4 days early access and a free copy of State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition and the DLCs Daybreak Pack and Independence Pack.

Those with Xbox Game Pass will get the game instantly. Those worried about possible microtransactions shouldn't, Undead Labs confirmed the game won't feature any.

State of Decay 2 launches May 22 for Xbox One and Windows 10 and utilize Microsoft's Xbox Play Anywhere feature.
