Publisher and developer Wolcen Studio announced that Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, its debut hack 'n' slash ARPG, will now leave Early Access on February 13, following a two-week delay. The title's full release was initially slated for January 30, but was delayed in order to "be as polished as possible".
"In our current situation, even a day of work makes a huge impact on the final quality of Wolcen. We don't want to waste several years of development and the quality of such a strong project by releasing an unstable version of the game.", Wolcen Studio CEO Daniel Dolui said in a video.
The video continues with a preview of Wolcen: Lord of Mayhem's character creator and its customization options. The title plans to add its own spin to the hack 'n' slash ARPG sub-genre through a combat system based on weapon-specific combos and a classless levelling system.
On top of that, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem will also feature an asymmetric armor system that lets you equip different shoulder and arm pieces, resulting in more customization options. You can learn more about the game by visiting its Steam page.
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is available now in Steam Early Access for the price of $29.99 or your regional equivalent.
