October is the month for candy, monsters, and most importantly horror. This year many gamers are looking forward to playing their favorite horror games, but some don't know what to play. Here are 5 games to play this Halloween.

Dead by Daylight,NoobFeed,Behaviour Interactive,

Who says you have to be alone for things to be scary? With online gaming, you're never alone and in Dead by Daylight you can 3 other players must survive being hunted by a monster. Don't want to be the hunted but instead the hunter? Players can take control of 1 of 10 killers each with unique abilities. Regardless of which role you take Dead by Daylight gives you the chance to play both sides, as victim and executioner.

The Evil Within 2,Tango Gameworks,NoobFeed,Bethesda,

One of the best games of this year The Evil Within 2 is traditional gaming at its finest. No DLC or microtransaction, just you and a sea of horrors. Players take control of Sebastian Castellanos as he dives into STEM, a world giving life by connecting minds, in search of his daughter Lily. Called Union the entire project has begun to decay and monsters roam every inch of the landscape. The Evil Within 2 challenges your fortitude and survival skills in a world where reality can be twisted into anything and logic no longer applies. Seeing a piece of land floating in the sky is probably the sanest thing you'll see in this game.

Resident Evil 7,NoobFeed,Capcom,

Earlier this year Capcom released Resident Evil 7, a game that they promised would return the franchise to its roots; they didn't disappoint. Starring a new protagonist Ethan travels to a derelict plantation in Dulvey, Louisiana, by a message from his wife, Mia, who has been presumed dead for the past three years. Things don't go according to plan and now Ethan is faced with the Bakers, a family of deranged killers who torment Ethan using force, sneak attacks, and deadly traps. If you thought the Spencer Mansion was dangerous than wait till you enter the Baker's home estate.

Outlast,NoobFeed,Red Barrel Studio,

Released back in 2013 Outlast is still one of the best horror games available today. As Miles Upshur, a freelance journalist, you head defensively into a Mount Massive Asylum rumored to be conducting inhumane experiments. Upon entering, Miles is shocked to discover its halls ransacked and littered with the mutilated corpses of the staff. Unable to leave Miles must face the patients inside while avoiding a supernatural force all the Walrider which is killing everything in its path. In most survival-horror games, the developers give you something to defend yourself with, here you have nothing but a camera with night vision and the ability to run and hide.

Dead Space 2,NoobFeed,EA,Visceral Games,

Despite Visceral Games closure, they were responsible for some of the best survival-horror games, specifically Dead Space 2. While the first game set up the franchise on a high-note the second installment was better in every category, featuring a more robust combat system, deadly new enemies, and a dark atmosphere amplified thanks to fantastic sound design and lightening. Coupled with psychotic episodes where reality and fiction are constantly being tested and you have an adventure full of shocking moments. If you love survival-horror games this is a must play.
