King of Nature operates through early-game survival and poison swamp creation. This strategy requires surviving initial encounters while building towards a poison-based defensive system. Success depends on proper unit positioning and augment timing.

Required Perks

You need Castellain x3 and Healer x2 to strengthen your base for early-game survival. Spreader x2 provides additional units for natural tanking. Reroll options remain mandatory while other perks offer flexibility.

Strategy Execution

Roll for Stone as your opponent, preferably with Boar in your starting hand. Place your Treant in the backline, ideally with space between it and your Shroom. Position the Forest on one frontline edge with the Boar adjacent to it on the frontline.

If you lack Boar, place Elves on the opposite edge as temporary tanks that you will sacrifice later. Your frontline should follow a Damage Unit - Boar - Forest pattern.

Poison System Development

When fighting Stone, prioritize Cauldron acquisition and place it adjacent to your Treant in the backline. Connect it to Shroom when possible.

Do not worry about Orchard positioning beyond backline placement, as it only benefits from damage buffs.

The Cauldron-Treant-Shroom combination creates a powerful poison swamp system for early and mid-game dominance. For your second Stone encounter, acquire Balista and place it adjacent to your first Boar.

Augment Selection

If you choose Venom as your first enhancement, your poison will work twice as well, making your cauldrons more powerful. If you can't get Venom, choose double HP as a good backup.

Unit Positioning

Your frontline arrangement determines early-game survival. Boar provides tanking while Forest offers damage output.

This combination handles most early encounters when properly positioned. Later additions should support this core formation.

Loot Priorities

Target Nature for Boar, Clone, Procreate, single Orchard (avoid multiple placements), and Base cards. Stone provides Cauldron and Balista opportunities.

Progress offers Overhaul options. Nothing provides Wildcard and Steel coat cards. Blood offers Carnage opportunities. Spell provides Offering cards.

Alliance Management

Stone serves as a mandatory ally. Greed and Blood function as beneficial friends. Spell represents a problematic opponent. You face no absolute alliance restrictions.

Tips for Success

Once you set up the poison swamp system, it will do most of the damage. Survival in the early game relies on where you place your units and how well you improve your base.

When used together, the Treant and Cauldron give you power over a large area that few enemies can get around.
