A little bit about myself...

As I'm new around and many of you don't know me from other places I think the right thing to do is to give you guys(and girls :D ) a little bit of info about myself. I know you have one of those introduce yourselves threads but I'm usuallynot interested in them...

My name is Cristian, I'm a 19 y.o. dude from Busteni, Romania(a small country in the central-eastern part of Europe) :D.

Like everyone around here, I'm a gamer, but mostly I play my games on the PC. I started my 'activity' in 1994 at my kindergarten's PC, where I've played my very first games: Commander Keen IV, Duke Nukem, Mystic Towers and The Last Eichhof. I still remember that the PC didn't have any OS, and we played the games from bootable FDD's. As the PC's were pretty rare and very pricy back then, my folks bought me a NES(which I'll eventually change to a SNES, after I managed to broke the first one) and really got the taste for gaming. In this time I also used to visit some friends who had PC's and played on those also. I managed to buy my own PC kinda late, but that's when I really started playing like hell. In the recent years, as my system become kinda outdated, I've tried playing some games that I've missed over the years from other platforms.

As far as genres are concerned, I play mostly everything, except for simulators(and yeah, it includes driving simulators), but my favorite are RPG and Adventure(especially the old point'n click ones).

When it comes to music I mostly listen to symphonic metal, power metal, gothic, etc. all of which are female fronted(of course there are some exceptions...). For a more detailed idea, see my profile on last.fm.

As far as movies are concerned, I don't watch them. I usually see one or two movies a year and these are either made after a game or are one of Uwe Boll's(what? I like his movies...), so I'm not a big fan, otherwise.

I'm not interested in serials, nor do I watch TV. I only turn it on when I remember that a comedian has his show at that hour, but I usually forget :P .

Instead of the movies and serials, I'm pretty interested in anime. I really like watching them as there's a valuable life lesson to learn from each of them. In the recent period I see one or two episodes of a series every night before I go to sleep. Depending on what my schedule will be for the summer, I want to learn some Japanese words, as I don't find it a very difficult language.
