Unique furniture products that generate sounds in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are known as Gyroids. This guide provides a comprehensive list of the Gyroids that can be collected, as well as instructions on how to locate and cultivate them.
In order to experience Gyroids, which were recently introduced in the extensive Version 2.0 Update that was released on November 3rd, your copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons must be completely updated.
What Are Gyroids In Animal Crossing?
Gyroids are a unique and unusual form of furniture in Animal Crossing that emit intriguing sounds when activated. Furthermore, you have the option to personalize them with a variety of color schemes to complement the aesthetic of any space.
How To Find & Get Gyroids
In order to acquire some adorable Gyroids in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you must initially locate a unique Gyroid Fragment item.
These small fragments can be discovered in the ground on both your native island and mystery islands that are visited with Kapp'n Boat Tours. Furthermore, upon your initial encounter with Brewster, you will receive one as a token of generosity.
Furthermore, following a day of rainfall, it is possible to uncover all the Gyroids in non-fragment form that have been interred on your island.
How To Grow Gyroid Fragments
Upon obtaining a Gyroid Fragment, locate an empty area on your island, excavate a hole, and bury the fragment in the earth, similar to the process of planting fruit.
It is crucial to irrigate a Gyroid Fragment with your Watering Can after it has been planted to ensure its growth. Rainfall on your island should also suffice.
After planting and watering a Gyroid Fragment, return to the location where you entered it on the next in-game day and dig it up again to uncover a random new Gyroid furniture item.
How To Set Island Ordinances And What They Do
Island Ordinances are a new feature in Animal Crossing: New Horizons that allows you to change the fundamental rules of your island.
What Are Island Ordinances?
By implementing Ordinances on your island, you can modify certain "rules" that villagers or businesses adhere to in order to better align with your Animal Crossing preferences: The New Horizons method of play.
For instance, the Night Owl Island ordinance can modify the hours of businesses and villagers to make them available at later hours, which may be advantageous for players who prefer to remain up late and play.
How To Set & Change Island Ordinances
Setting your Island Ordinance for the first time is a breeze, and you can easily modify it if you change your mind. In order to access the feature, you must have attended your initial K.K. Slider concert.
In order to establish an Island Ordinance in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, consult Isabelle at the counter located within Resident Services. Select the 'Discuss Ordinances' option after selecting the 'Review Island Features' option. To establish or modify an Island Ordinance, a fee of 20,000 Bells must be paid.
Four Types of Island Ordinances
Animal Crossing offers four distinct categories of Island Ordinances: Version 2.0 opens up new possibilities.
Beautiful Island Ordinance: Isabelle has stated that the Beautiful Island Ordinance will "invite individuals to participate in the weeding, watering of flowers, and removal of trash from our waters."
Early Bird Ordinance: Isabelle asserts that the Early Bird Ordinance will "require residents to be more active in the morning and our businesses to open earlier."
In particular, establishments such as Nook's Cranny will commence operations two hours earlier than they would have done without the ordinance.
Night Owl Ordinance: Isabelle asserts that the Night Owl Ordinance will "increase nightlife by encouraging individuals to remain awake later." Additionally, we would encourage island enterprises to extend their operating hours.
In particular, establishments such as Nook's Cranny will operate an additional hour later in the evening than they would without an ordinance.
Bell Boom Ordinance: Isabelle asserts that the Bell Boom Ordinance will "increase the cost of goods on the islands, but it would also increase the amount that individuals receive from selling."
In more technical terms, this ordinance increases the price of items by 20% and the price of items for sale by 20%.
