Beginner Tips for de Blob 2

De Blob 2 is a great retro platformer but not everything is as easy as you might think. Eventually, the stages start to become more difficult, with harder challenges. Here are some tips you can use throughout the game to help you save Prisma City.

Use Your Compass

The compass if your best friend in de Blob 2. This handy item tells you the location of story quest, challenges, and optional paint objectives needed for those sweet gold medals. After completing the level you'll gain access to optional challenges followed by the locations of the trees and Graydians. Press Y on the Xbox One or triangle on the PS4 to hide and display the HUD.

Upgrade Your Armor, and Paint Size

The most important upgrades you should invest in is your paint size and armor. The other options, while nice for 2-player cooperative and saving paint, are less necessary. You'll always need paint so upgrading your maximum size is the best option.

Paint Everything

De Blob 2 has an excellent feature where if you complete a challenge before they go live you'll get the Inspiration Point. This means you should paint everything to avoid having to do it later on.

De Blob 2 is now available for PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
