Here are the 10 best endgame weapons in Black Myth: Wukong, ranked from worst to best.

There are 10 weapons in the endgame of Black Myth: Wukong, each with interesting effects and unique abilities. However, not all of them are created equal. These weapons will be ranked from worst to best, including the ones from the secret ending and New Game Plus. You’ll have an idea of what weapon you want to stick with going into New Game Plus, as this list will cover the stats and playstyle of each weapon.
Visionary Centipede Staff
As much as it pains me to put it dead last, we have the Visionary Centipede Staff, which you get by completing Chapter 4, comes lowest on the list. It comes with 90 attacks and a 10% critical hit chance, which makes it slightly desirable. Its unique effect powers up your healing if you perform charged heavy attacks, and the more Focus Points you have, the better the healing—provided the enemy is in a poisoned state. Unfortunately, poison on enemies barely lasts over a few seconds, especially against bosses, making this benefit hard to use. Plus, the healing boost isn’t significant when you have 600-800 HP, which makes it almost unnoticeable compared to a normal charged heavy.
Spider Celestial Staff
Next is the Spider Celestial Staff, given to you after defeating the Violet Spider boss in Chapter 4. With 85 attack and a slightly better 12% critical hit chance, this staff is more reliable because it poisons enemies with heavy attacks when you're poisoned. The Death Stinger helps keep you in a constant poisoned state, along with the centipede armor to reduce damage. However, the poison effect can still be tricky to maintain, especially if bosses have a high resistance to it.
Bishui Beast Staff
The Bishui Beast Staff is a step up and can be unlocked in Chapter 5’s Bewe Beast Cave. It has a higher attack at 105 and the same 10% critical hit chance. This weapon has no unique effects but gives you solid stats and damage as you progress through Chapter 5, making it a reliable choice until you find better options.
Staff of Blazing Karma
Staff of Blazing Karma is unlockable a bit earlier than the Bishui Beast Staff. It boasts 100 attack, some extra defense, and burn resistance, making it handy in certain areas. Its standout feature is the ability to create a burning lava effect with charged heavy attack costing three or more Focus Points. The burn effect causes damage over time, which is a great addition, but the fire’s small radius and enemies’ ability to quickly extinguish it can limit its usefulness.
Golden Loong Staff
Golden Long Staff, obtained from the Four Long Bosses questline, comes with 108 attack and a dragon effect that deals thunder damage when performing three or four Focus Point hits; this staff pairs well with the Pillar Stance and Sweeping Gale. While a strong option in the mid-to-late game, better weapons become available later.
Jingubang
The Jingubang is a fantastic weapon all around. With 135 attack, a 6% critical hit chance, and no decay on the fourth Focus Point gauge, this staff shines when paired with the Heaven’s Equal armor set. You can cast spells more frequently with critical hits, but the fourth gauge decay isn't a big drawback with other weapons, and you can generate Focus Points easily by the endgame. In New Game Plus 4, its fourth stance becomes available, potentially pushing it up in the ranks.
Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear
I may be biased, but the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear is one of my favorites. It’s a direct upgrade to the Chu Bai Spear, with the same attack and critical hit stats as Jing Bang, plus an additional damage source via Forceful Thrust, which fires swords into enemies. The spear’s move set makes it excellent for jumping in and out of harm’s way, making boss fights more manageable.
Stormflash Loong Staff
The Stormflash Loong Staff boasts an incredible 140 attack and a 9% critical hit chance. This staff excels with its thunder charge-up effect when you hit two Focus Points, causing shock damage that significantly boosts your overall DPS. Shock State is particularly effective in increasing damage against most bosses, making this one of the highest DPS weapons in the game.
Adapt Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff
The Adapt Spine-Shooting Fabon Staff has got 120 attack and the highest critical hit chance in the game at 25%. Its unique effect launches 360-degree spines upon impact, and the more Focus Points you use, the more spines appear, adding massive bonus damage. This staff's spines can deal an extra 500-700 damage per hit, and its synergy with the Unified Mind clone ability can utterly destroy enemies.
Dark Iron Staff
Finally, the best weapon in Black Myth: Wukong is the Dark Iron Staff. It might surprise you, as it did me when I first tried it, but this weapon deals double the damage of anything else when paired with the Bull Armor. Although it only has 110 attack, having 450 defense boosts its damage to 220+. The Bull King Armor's extra defense and ability to generate Focus Points make this combination unbeatable in raw power, allowing you to one-shot most enemies in the game.
