Busy but a great week!

Writing by Tanya on  Jun 03, 2009

It has been one of the most memorable weeks I've had in my whole life. I've been involved with so many activities, that I had to keep not of all to write this blog. Let's begin then.

First, E3 2009. I had the impression that I won't be able to watch the conferences live, but I was wrong. I was able to watch all the major conferences and also the EA conference live. It was the first time that I watched them live and the feeling was excellent. Microsoft started great with their biggest surprise MGS for 360. HALO and Modern Warfare 2 are the games that I’ll be looking forward to buy.

EA conference was pretty good too. NFS shift is what I’ll be looking forward to buy. Nintendo wasn’t very impressive but they showed good progress with their Wii remote. Now they have varieties of games to offer. Sony was greatest among all. They gave the signal that PSP is going to have a boost in next few years and intend to be the best seller. They also made a very good move by introducing the motion sensor. Everyone was expecting Sony to make the announcement, as Microsoft did that earlier. PS3 online community features were great too. I so want my PS3 now.

Now, NoobFeed. My interview blog was featured at the landing page and it was an amazing feeling to see my work in there. My experience after publishing that interview was awesome. Craig gave me a great deal of boost being so kind to take part in it. I really thank him from the bottom of my heart :). I have the next person on watch for my 2nd interview and I’m preparing my questions for him. I’ll publish my next interview week after this. This week special is going to be the Emblem hunters ;)

I hope you all have witnessed the User page I’ve designed. I gave my full day working on the page and had to submit without the finishing touches. I’m happy to see that my idea was appreciated by the Admin and members. I was rewarded with this amazing looking emblem and I was flattered with its description. No I feel like doing more innovative works for NoobFeed.

No now I’m the official unlocker of three emblems. Publicist, Security guard and Nuclear Brain. I’ve also unlocked two more emblems this week. One of them was totally unexpected. The Soccer guru. A great emblem designed by canana. I’m really happy to have this emblem. Because I’m the only user here; who has both the emblems won the Emblem contest we had last month. YaY! Oh! I'm also an Exceptional Contributor now :D

Finally, my registration has finished and the good news is that I didn’t get a course this semester. Some of you might wonder that why am I talking about semester during summer! Well, it’s the summer and short semester most of our universities have. As I didn’t get any courses at the university, my father has asked me to learn Photoshop from an expert. I did learn the basics before but now I’m going to learn in deed :D

I’ve also gave voice to an UN project. Ron helped me to get that job. The project was an animation based on Mango agriculture. It’s nothing fancy, but working with those animation professionals was a great experience. I also met both the designers of NoobFeed. The guy who designs the emblems is really quiet and gentle. He wears glasses and always smiles. The guy, who designed the site, is someone you won’t believe a designer unless you know. He looks crazy but he is amazingly polite. I was making many mistakes at the beginning of voice recording but he helped me get along with the process. He also ordered pizza for me during the break and I really had fun there. And, when I was going back to my home, Ron came to the office. He took me out for a tour and he told me that I was the first ever user to have the opportunity to meet NoobFeed team in real life. I’m very proud of being with NoobFeed.

I don’t feel like stopping, but I know I have to. Thank you all for reading :)
