Chapter 15 
Masilen

 

        I held her in my arms and was rather unsettled by the idea of such an important item was lost. I took her with be back to our room, still confused on what had just happened. Alessandra… She’s such a lovely girl, why was it they she came from a evil family. Her fathers bad enough but now this, her sister come too now. I could have sworn it was settled.

 

“Alessandra, where’s the charm that I gave you?”

 

“The charm? I’m not sure to be honest. I remembers wearing but… I think I lost it after I fell. Yes I’m sure of it, the nurse took it off me. I’m positive now.”

 

“Are you sure? You do know that the charm was for correct?”

 

“No, not really, I never really bothered asking, it was so pretty. I wish I still had it.”

 

“Well we need to get it back, or at least get you another one.”

 

“Well are we leaving now or later?”

 

“We leave now. The others cannot know of where I’m going to take you. If they did they would be sure to follow and I can’t allow that.”

 

        I took her by then hand and we left to the bedroom to grab the rest of our things, once we were packed we walked down together. As we went to make our leave the Inn Owner started to say something. I paid him no heed and finally punched him in the face. I could hear the cracking of his bones under the force of my fist. He started to scream in pain and his wife walked out, she looked at me, then to her husband then back to me. With a smile she kicked him in his ribs then walked away. I could see the bruises on her arms. We hurried out of the Inn, the light still not quite to noon. The stables held no change. All of the horses were still there so the others must not have awoken. I walked up to the stable by and asked for our horses. He seemed puzzled that it was only us two but he didn’t mind it too much.

 

          Quickly we mounted and headed west. The others are still going to Sarwar’s Palace. We on the other hand are heading to Masilen, my second largest city in my empire. Hopefully there I can find the what I need so as to correct this wrong.

 

“Ricardo, My love. Where are we going?”

 

“To Masilen.”

 

“Masilen.” She starts to giggle and laugh. “Your finally taking me to the best city in the empire. I can’t believe your taking me to the shopping city. I’m so happy, and I almost thought you had forgotten it was my birthday.”

 

“I’d never forget my love, never.”

 

“What are you getting me?”

 

“I already have a few things in mind. But I’ve also a few things that I need to pick up.”

 

“Like?”

 

“You’ll see Love, you’ll see.”

 

      With that we road east to Masilen, the trade city of the empire. Hopefully there we can find a replacement charm, and I can possibly find out what has happened to my armor.
