Community Update - March #2

Editorial by Domen on  Mar 17, 2010

I have said I will be writing community updates on a weekly basis, however I have now decided to post them when something happens in the world of NoobFeed.

I am sad to announce the departure of three moderators from their position: Bluezy, EliteEdge and DevilJIN. I want to thank all of them for their contribution in the past, particularly Bluezy and EliteEdge. Bluezy will stop being a moderator, however, will stay on the NoobFeed staff as a writer. I wish EliteEdge and DevilJIN the best of luck and success in the future. I am sure we can still maintain a good relationship with them and perhaps in time, give them another chance.

We lose something and we gain something. We all know that is just the way it is. That said, I announce the promotion of Horgen123. That might not be such a secret anymore as he has already announced it himself, thus spoiling the surprise, but oh well. Additionally, long-time moderator -Moroes- is now no normal moderator anymore, but has been promoted to a super-moderator. All well deserved! Congratulations to both Horgen and Moroes.

Last time you wanted to hear some dirty secrets, as well, that is how we function. The dirtier is it, the better right? Unfortunately, aside from RON’s dirty underwear I have nothing else to report on. Perhaps I do, but why would I if I can keep you guessing and on your toes about what NoobFeed will bring next.

I definitely noticed a change in the statistics as well. We can an improvement in the number of visitors and the number of visits, which will hit higher this month as in February.  I would say the mega speed-up of NoobFeed has had something to do with that. Don’t you notice the super speed? Of course you do. This enables NoobFeed to have many more members, many more posts and many more blogs. Write, post and invite people.

Changes make me both happy and sad at the same time. I wish we could only gain, and not lose anything. The human factor kicks in here, where all of us have either school or work duties to attend to, and may become too busy for such wonderful communities. I am sure, however, that when the steam of busy schedules clear, we will all be here once again. I am very busy with school myself, as this is my last year, actually, the last few months of my High School education.  Do not worry though, I will be sufficiently active.
