Divinity: Original Sin 2 Guide | Companion Locations

In Divinity: Original Sin 2, you do not have to wander the world alone. There are several people you can meet who will join you on your journey, each with their own story and skills. This guide will show you exactly where to find these friends so you can fill your party before things get too dangerous.

The Shores of Fort Joy

Once you wake up on the beach, you can find your first friend quickly. Walk west a short distance to find The Red Prince standing on some rocks by the sea. If you talk to him, he will eventually agree to travel with you. 

If you keep heading southwest along the sand, you will see Beast working on a broken ship. Just share some stories with him, and he will join up. Further south on the shore, near another wrecked ship and a man named Dain, you will find Sebille. She does not like lizards much, so be careful how you talk to her, but she can still be convinced to come along.

Inside the Fort

When you reach the main gate of Fort Joy, something will happen to a person named Atusa. Once that is over, go inside the walls. You will find Lohse standing near a shrine, and she is happy to join your group. 

Nearby, you will see Ifan Ben-Mezd standing up to some thugs who are bothering Elodi. If you stand by him, he will join you afterward. For a more unusual friend, look for the Hidden Alcove. Inside a clearing there, you will find Fane looking at a dead body. 

If you talk to him about what he is doing, he will eventually accept your offer to travel together.

Special Friends and Second Chances

There is also a small companion named Sir Lora. If you have the right content installed, you will find him right on the beach. He is like a pet and will follow you around. It is best if you have the Pet Pal talent so you can understand what he says. 

Keep an eye on him because he can get hurt in fights. If you miss any of these people early on, do not worry. Once you get onto the ship called the Lady Vengeance, you can find them all again. 

The Red Prince will be on the main deck, while Sebille and Lohse wait on the lower deck. You can find Ifan Ben-Mezd, Beast, Fane, and Sir Lora on the second level from the top.
