E3 2012: Final results

Well, now that Nintendo has showed off their 3DS games, I can render a full verdict on this year's E3. From worst to best, we have...

 

EA: Nothing at all. It doesn't exist. Stop saying it does.

Grade: F-

 

Microsoft: Halo 4 should be good, possibly Resident Evil 6, possibly the South Park RPG. Everything else was terrible.

Grade: F

 

Sony: The Last of Us looks great, one of the best things at this E3... nothing much else.

Grade: D

 

Ubisoft: WATCH DOGS F*** YEAH, Rayman Legends looks good, Assassin's Creed 3 should at least be decent. Nothing particularly bad out of this conference... except Shootmania, which I think we all agree is better left unmentioned.

Grade: C+

 

Nintendo: Wii U still looking good. Pikmin 3 and New Super Mario Bros. for it look great. Nintendo Land could be good, we need to see the minigames before we can make a prediction. As for 3DS stuff, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Paper Mario Sticker Star, and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon all look amazing. Now, aside from the conference... Reggie Fils-Aime mentioned after it that Fire Emblem Awakening WILL be coming to North America, which is officially the best part of E3.
