If you try to kill it legitimately without assistance you'll be at it for a while. To hasten the process obtain The Furious drug from Tweak at the Henbane River and complete his questline to get all drug options. Once you do take The Furious Drug when you encounter a bull, which can be found in John's region close to the various farms.

Take it and kill it with one punch.
