Four Franchises That Could Crossover Into Smite
Smite got RWBY and Avatar, what’s next?

Smite, Hi-Rez’s third-person mythology based MOBA, has recently seen partnerships with popular media. First, there was the Smite X RWBY battlepass, which gave players five special skins, one for each member of team RWBY, and a variant for Ruby herself in her original outfit. Now, players are getting the Smite X Avatar battlepass, which is giving them access to skins of Aang, Zuko, and Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: Legend of Korra. There are two skins for each, a regular and prestige skin for a total of six skins across three Gods. With these two massive franchises partnering with Hi-Rez, what other franchises, big and small, could Hi-Rez partner with next? Here are a few ideas.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
This well-known 80s franchise was recently revived as an animated Netflix series from Dreamworks to great success. Now that the show is finished, Dreamworks and Hi-Rez have a great opportunity to partner up. There are several stellar options within She-Ra for skins in Smite, such as She-Ra Bellona, She-Ra King Arthur, or She-Ra Mulan; Catra Da-Ji, Catra Bastet or Catra Awilix; King Micah Merlin; Perfuma Persephone; Huntara Athena; and so many more. The idea of introducing these characters into Smite has the potential to bring in fans of the franchise, as well as expose fans of Smite to this stellar show.
Dead by Daylight
Behavior Interactive’s Dead by Daylight is a well-known asymmetric horror title, but some of their characters would be interesting sites to see in Hi-Rez’s mythological MOBA. Some of the Killers that show up throughout Dead by Daylight are already licensed IPs, such as Pyramid Head, Michael Myers, and Freddy Kreuger, but there are plenty of characters made by Behavior who would be an interesting fit into Smite. Some concepts include Legon Loki; Huntress Heimdallr; Hag Izanami; Oni Hercules; and even The Entity Scylla. Dead By Daylight might not have the same sized pool of characters to pull from as She-Ra, its characters are just as unique and interesting.
Adventure Time
Another incredibly successful TV Show, Adventure Time has a wide breadth of characters to choose from. The insane and random world of Adventure Time has created plenty of unique and exciting characters that could be turned into skins for everyone’s favorite Gods. Some concepts for Adventure Time skins that I’ve come up with are more “out-there” than others, but still work. Some of the concepts include Ice King Kuzenbo or Ice King Ymir, Princess Bubblegum Nu Wa or Princess Bubblegum Hera, Lich King Hades, Finn King Arthur, and many more. There are so many characters to choose from, and so many concepts that could take form.
My Hero Academia
The smash hit anime series would fit in right alongside RWBY and Avatar in the ranks of Smite crossovers. The incredibly popular anime has a wonderful cast of characters that would all be perfect fits amongst the ranks of Smite’s Gods and Goddesses. There are so many choices for characters, ranging from Deku Rama or Deku Mercury; Bakugo Apollo; Hawks Horus; Endeavour Agni; Kurogiri Janus; Kaminari Zeus; All Might Cú Chulainn; Gran Torino Mercury; Cementoss Ymir; and so many more. The amount of options within My Hero Academia feel like they are truly endless. This would be a major get for Hi-Rez and Smite, with the potential to bring in a slew of new players interested in the hit anime.
