thanks to bruno for the idea I suppose (or do I?) anyways heres an update on what Ive played since I stopped postin here and what Id give each game scorewise Ill do scores outta 100 cuz Im too lazxy to type in decimals
Alien Vs Predator-a fairly good FPS game, each of the 3 classes (human predator and alien) feel very diverse and can lead to some hours online with the multiplayer if it werent almost completely broken. Id give it a 75/100
Pokemon SoulSilver:a really good pokemon game, doesnt really diverge itselffrom the classic formula too much except the pokewalker which imho while fun is just a little bit gimmicky. for odd reasons it did not hold my interest as much as other pokemons even though its a remake of my favorite game in the series. Still to be fair Id give it an 85/100
Crackdown: mix meh graphics, with a slightly humourous story and fun, but repetitive gameplay and you got Crackdown in a nutshell. Its fun for a bit but really was only in my 360 because I was a bit dry on games atm Overall Id give it a 70/100
Red Dead Redemption: I am personally currently addicted to this game, it has amazing graphics, super addictive gameplay, a fantastic story and some of the best online Ive seen this generation. My only complaint is the fact that the main game can get a bit dry on missions at times and imho the fast travel system could've been done much better. Still Id give it a 95/100
Super Mario Galaxy 2: amazing. Possible game of the generation for me. I honestly am in love with this game, there is no doubt in my mind that this is the best platformer I have ever played since Banjo Tooie. Every single detail is done beautifully, and the gameplay is just flawless. This game was a true suprise hit for me as I really didnt like the original Galaxy at all (if I were to review it now Id probably give it no higher then an 85/100) but this game gets a 100/100, one of only 4 games Ive never found a flaw with. Ever.(other 3 being Banjo Tooie Jet Set radio Future an Shining Force)
Modnation Racers: This is my current addiction for the PS3, possibly one of the best kart racing games Ive ever played, the customization features are great, plus the online "share" system is amazing (copywrite infringement ftw :P) my only complaint really is the load times are way too long for this small of a game. True for a kart racer it has a lot of features, but for a PS3 game in general this game is much too small to be having these load times. Overall though Id give it a 95/100
Killzone 2: Great graphics and gameplay, and a terrible story (but does anyone go to FPS's for that?). My main complaints are just that every gun feels the same with the exception of a few drastic differences like the rocket launcher. Plus the fact that the art is some of the most bland monotone colors Ive ever seen in a game, ever. This game could truley have a sticker on the box claiming colorblind compatible. Overall though Id give it a 90/100
Torchlight: great game, for a great price. What more could you ask for? Take a neat art style and add in a diablo style gameplay and you got yourself one good game. My only complaint is that the inventory is stupidly small, and theres no co op (which this game could really use) I personally cant wait for the MMO version to get a release and overall Id give it a 90/100
well thats mainly what I've been playing, there are a few more things scattered here and there but I havent put enough time into them to really give them a solid rating.
