Modern Warfare 2

 

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, November 11th, 2009. That was the message delivered by the new teaser trailer. The trailer was debut at GDC and is featured on the game's site. The website is modernwarfare2.com (hope i spelled it right, the news box keeps running off the page). The website only features the trailer at the moment but I’m sure in the coming days or months it will become more packed with stuff. Details of the setting and content are scarce, but things are sure to be found with the trailer analyzer on the site. I’m sure by sometime next week we will have a good idea of the missing information. **SPOIERS** the trailer features, an elevator, dudes, guns, and explosions. Wow, nothing like COD 4 at all. Giantbomb has managed to depict a teddy bear of all things in the video. Well i guess we will finally get to show those dammed cuddlies who's boss, EH? One thing is for sure. November 11th is marked into my calendar, again. In case you don’t know that is Remembrance Day here in Canada. I believe its Veterans day in the USA as well. Don't quote me on that. Lets hope that the civilians don’t get all pissy about releasing a game about shooting dudes, on a day about people who shot dudes. Anyway that’s all for now

Bad Company 2

 

Well this GDC sure has been chalked full of great game announcements. From teddy bears to smoking, we have it all covered. In yet another game announcement via teaser trailer we have conformation of Battlefield Bad Company 2. This was no surprise as the game was announced a while back. This trailer made it all official. The trailer can been seen here http://www.gametrailers.com/player/47329.html. Just be aware of the beautiful Trojan Condom ads you get to see. The trailer show cases what bad company is good at, explosions. Blood, knives, vehicles, and smoking.. oh and did I mention explosions. The trailer features a good art style. The first game was a refresh to shooters with its ability to blow up anything, literally anything. This one is sure to do the same, just remember, don’t smoke kids.

Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time

 

SHOLY FRAP. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no its a nerdboy-ism I just used. Oh games, ya that is why we are here. There is some new game coming out. It’s called craket and sank or something ya anyway what ever. No ACTUALLY. There was yet another game announcement today at GDC 09. Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time, to be exact. The teaser trailer debut and can be seen here http://www.gametrailers.com/player/47274.html. Just be ware, another Trojan ad. Really GT, really, anyway. The trailer tells us that there is more Ratchet to be had, coming fall. When that exact day is however has not surfaced. Time is important says the elders, well if old people say it, it has to be important, afterall they have wisdom, unless your IQ is 36, then even when your old, you have no wisdom. The trailer does not show us much except that time will play a major factor in the game, afterall, old people.

G.I Joe: Rise of Cobra

 

Remember that show. I sure as hell don’t. That is ok though. I have heard enough to know that cobra is a douche and that Government Issued Joe is here to save the day, in game form. The game was announced at GDC 09. OMG what a surprise right. Well not really. I feel that many of the younger crowd will enjoy this game, as they do not remember the show, so when the game goes horribly wrong, they have no memories that are as of release of Government Issued Joe, scarred. Hey and no condom ad this time, just a boat. The trailer can be seen here http://www.gametrailers.com/player/47277.html. The trailer bears a resemblance to that old gamecube game, Toy Soldiers: Sarge’s Army. Well if it is anything like that game, many upon many memories of a selfless hero will be scarred as of summer 2009. That is close. Prepare for meltdown.

Terminator Salvation

 

We three kings be after the gold. Oh hey all, I’m just sitting here, 2:06AM writing about some game announcements while watching Three Kings, what a great movie. Now this is not a game announcement, more of a update. But hey, Terminator is awesome, a game, maybe not so much. Project Offset

 

What the hell is Project Offset. I guess a project that got damaged or something. Not quite sure. Yet another GDC announcement. I guess. I really have no idea what this game is, or I really don`t care. The trailer looked cool, and it has a cool name, what more do you want. Killzone 2

 

It is yet another world exclusive. This one in the form of Killzone 2 DLC. Oh, crap, I forgot a catchy but off topic opening sentence. BANANAS, there. Oh god I thought I was losing my touch for a minute. Ok so lets get one thing straight. This is not exactly DLC. Actually more of DL, without the C, C is for coconut, or content, which ever way you like it. Anyway, you have all seen the killzone 2 tv ad. Yes it;s cool. So now you get to see how it was made. You can even manipulate the camera angles. This is defiantly a cool one for anyone who has a PS3 and I would recommend it, sadly I am PS3-less. Oh well.
