Happy Friendship Day :)

Hello everyone!

Wishing you a Happy Friendship Day :) It's been long since I've written any blog. I've been pretty busy lately & that's why there wasn't much of biZZy for the last couple of weeks or so. Now I'll be here more often. It's been great to have Craig back again with his works. But I'm also feeling for Ilias & Domen :( It's already August 1 here & someone need to put "NoobFeed Map Overlay (July 2010)" up. Oh and Koshai is leaving Bangladesh for US in this month. So we are gonna miss some visits from here :( Whatever I'm gonna meet Mr. Koshai in a day or two :D

 

We all know about this day. Lets check out again! The tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends began in US. The United States Congress, in 1935, proclaimed the first Sunday of August as National Friendship Day. Since then, celebration of National Friendship Day became an annual event. Following the popularity and success of Friendship Day in US, several other countries adopted the tradition of dedicating a day to friends. Today, Friendship Day is enthusiastically celebrated by several countries across the world.

Many friends wish each other with exchange of gifts and cards on this day. "Friendship bands" are very popular in India, Nepal, and parts of South America. With the advent of social networking sites, friendship day is also being celebrated online.
