If you have a good, stable internet connection then you can make money. It doesn’t matter where in the world you live, or your level of education. All you need to be able to do is stay focused and figure out an area that you can dominate.

For instance, if you live in India, you can make a great living strictly by working online. Either as an influencer, a virtual assistant, a marketer, or even as a gamer. Yes, you can make money by playing video games in India, or any other place in the world.

If you are good at it, then there is money to be made. It won’t be easy and you have to dedicate yourself to being the best you can be. But, with enough effort, you can actually make a full-time income from gaming, and here are the tips on how to do it.
 

1 - Get a following

It doesn’t matter how good you are at a game, you will need to build a following of fans. If nobody is watching you play, then your efforts are wasted.

The first thing to do is find where the fans of the game you decide to play are hanging out online. Where are they finding the gamers to follow? Some may be on Tik Tok, others on Twitch, and more on Youtube. When you figure out who your target audience is then start your gaming on that platform.

When you have a following, then they will become fans and willing to pay you to be able to continue making content.

2 - Pick a game to master

You can’t jump from one game to another and expect to generate a following. Sure, there are some out there like Pewdiepie that have managed it, but this would be an exceptionally rare feat. The better approach is to pick one game and get really good at it. People that are fans of that game will stick around and watch all of your videos.

When you have people that like your style of play of a certain game like League of Legends and feel that they can learn some tips, then they will stay loyal. If you keep changing the game that you play, those would be loyal fans will find somebody that they can learn from.

3 - Look for sponsors

You may get lucky and attract the attention of somebody willing to pay you to advertise their brand or product so you can make money that way. But, your chances are better when you have a following and then go look for sponsors.

Use your social media accounts to message brands that you would want to work with and pitch them on becoming a sponsor. Make sure you know all of your metrics as this is what they are looking for.
