I started a podcast! Updates and what I've been playing.

Games by Nerdboy on  Oct 28, 2010

Hello everyone!  Haven't posted a blog in a few weeks so I figure now is a good a time as any. :)

So much has been going on the past few weeks with games and life in general and now it's almost time where we can finally take a breather from all these games! (HA ;) )  Anyways I wanted to tell you all about the podcast I started from my website a few weeks back as well as give you some updates on some games I've been playing and a little question that I think you all can help me with. :D

First off we started a podcast talking about games we've been playing/news/new releases and more.  We're on episode three right now and still trying to figure out just exactly where we'd like to go from here.  If you'd like to give it a listen that'd be pretty awesome and if not that's just alright too. :D

IF you do happen to listen if you have any feedback for me please let me know!  We want as much feedback as possible and we're looking to try to make it as enjoyable a podcast as we possibly can. :)

That being said I have a question for all of my noobfeed friends.  In the next month or so I'll be purchasing the equipment needed to capture gameplay from both the PS3 and PSP.  I am however wondering a few things about what types of videos we'll be making.

I know some of you here make gameplay videos so if you'd like to chime in please feel free to!  The way I see it I can create gameplay videos just showing the game and that's it.  Much like many other gaming sites out there.  However I'm of the belief that it could be much more interesting if there's commentary of some sort over the gameplay much like Giantbomb does with their quicklooks and I've seen a few other sites try before.  I'd like to try that but at the same time I don't want to come off as if I'm ripping off the idea of the quicklook.  So I pose to you all this question....

What do you want from a gameplay video?  How long do you think they should be?  Would you rather get video of games that don't get as much coverage as some other AAA games?  I know they're pretty broad questions but if you can answer them to the best of your ability that would really really help me out as well.

(So definitely keep watch of my blog here at noobfeed for some gameplay videos of some sort coming soon! :D)

With that stuff out of the way lets talk about games! :D

I've mainly kept up to date with what I've been playing in the thread on the forums so I don't know if there's much to really say about the games I've been playing recently.  I'm really really enjoying Cladun: This is an RPG! much more than I thought I would.  It's super addictive and I'm having a hard time putting it down even when I've got quite a few other games on my plate at the moment as well.

I guess I'll talk about what games I'm wanting to get soon.  Next week Target is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale here so I might take advantage of that.  I'm really wanting to get Vanquish, Kirby's Epic Yarn as well as Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood at the end of November.  Oh and my b-day is coming up as well so maybe I'll get something cool then. :D

I think that's about all I have for now.  Also I know the picture for some reason didn't work in the last blog but I wanted to at least link to it here for everyone to see. :D  As much as I love Dragon Quest I REALLY REALLY LOVE THIS!
