'You & Me'

 

You smile

that forbidden

                  Smile

The one

that I

                  Love

But, it

pierces me

                  Daggers

cut through

me. My

                  Heart

yearns for

you to

                  Hold

me closely,

as my

                  Mind

repels you,

saying you're

                  Wrong

A conflicted,

almost torn

                  Soul

Inside me,

rages a

                  Battle

Outside, you

see the

                  Same

me. Unknowing

how much

                  Pain

Only knowing

ever present

                  Joy

plastered on

my smiling

                  Face

Showing the

pain would

                  Kill

you, and

dampen your

                  Kindness

toward the

world. So,

                  I

shall endure,

only for 

                  You

even if

it kills

                  Me
