Impressions: Fire Emblem, and Avatar Switch?
Games by Din5193 on Oct 24, 2009
Been playing Fire Emblem for the GBA. The one that's just called "Fire Emblem." So far, it's really good. Fun gameplay, and as you all probably know by now, I'm a sucker for character-driven storylines (Grandia II, Ace Attorney, Fire Emblem, etc.), so it's got a pretty good story too. And my personal favorite aspect, interesting/good characters. Eliwood is a little one-dimensional, but Hector is pretty interesting. Florina is kind of funny, and Sain and Kent always make me laugh as well. On the nicer side... Lyn is definitely interesting to watch.
So, you know what that means... maybe it's time for an avatar switch. :P Lyndis this time. Three pictures, here, here, and here. (These are Gamespot-sized at the moment; I'll remake the winner to better fit a NoobFeed avatar.) The first one is a headshot of the official art for her, with a gold background. The second one is another piece of official art. The third one is her forward-facing sprite from the game, with a red background. As per usual, pick the one you like best; the first, second, third, or should I stick with Millenia?
Not much else new... still waiting for Modern Warfare 2, but a large number of DS games have piqued my interest as well. Namely, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Scribblenauts, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, and Phantasy Star 0. So I might rent one or two of those while waiting.
Instead of a picture today, it's a short funny video. See it here.
While I've got you here though, anyone have anything to say about the following Fire Emblem games; Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, and The Sacred Stones? I heard Radiant Dawn was ridiculously hard, and if so, I don't think I'll do too well at the moment...
