iPod Touch Price Cut?

The cheapest iPod Touch is $230. Thats the one with 8GB. I have been looking at phones and was considering an iPhone but it is so much cheaper just to get a normal phone (probably the Samsung Eternity or something else) and a Touch. I dont listen to much music but I do watch a lot of movies and would use apps. I have been browsing the app store and there is an app for everything. There is even an iBeer. So looking back the iPod Touch launched in September of 07, a 2nd Gen model in September 08. So what about 09? Could this be a chance for the (already leaked) iPod Touch with a camera? And at a cheaper price? You have to admit with the drop of game console prices it seems a good time for this. I would likely get it in November for my birthday. There is still time. But if they cut the price and dont launch a new model then Im getting it ASAP. If you are following me on Twitter you know all about how I have been looking for a feature phone for months. A new not-so-many-features phone and an iPod Touch combo would be a good option. Other option consist of a palm pre and iphone with no iPod Touch. I just cant pay $30 a month for a data plan. Thats why I am hoping to get an Ipod touch. No data plan.
