In the world of Layers Of Fear, you will find yourself in a twisted version of an office during the fifth chapter of the Painter's Story. To get out, you must climb high above the ground and find several hidden phone numbers. This guide will help you navigate the narrow paths and solve the mystery of the ringing phones.

Finding the First Number

When you enter the office and see a large portrait of Babyface, a phone will begin to ring. Look at the bookshelf near the sound to find a Secret Room. Pick up the phone inside, then go back and look at the Babyface painting again. The note in the hand of the subject now has the number 363 on it. Go back into the secret room and dial this number. Once you do, the room will change, and the ceiling will look very far away.

Finding the Second Number

Go through the new door in the secret room and walk to the very end of the hall. You will find yourself standing on top of a tall bookshelf. Be very careful and stay close to the wall as you walk to the left so you do not fall. Enter the door you find and go up the stairs to reach the next phone. After you pick it up, turn around and look over the edge. A Bookcase will fall to the floor below, and you will see the number 853 painted on it.

Dial 853 on the phone. If you want a special secret, you can dial 911 first to get an achievement. After you dial the correct number, the exit will be blocked. Just push the bookshelf down to create a path to a higher level. Again, stay close to the wall and move to the left.

Finding the Third Number

When the path ends, light the Candles to show a set of stairs. Climb up and push a Plank over to make a bridge so you can cross the room. Turn right to find the third phone. After you answer it, look across the office at the five Paintings. Each one has a number. You need to match them to the paintings behind the phone and dial the numbers from left to right, which is 354.

After you dial the last number, the platforms will move again. Head to the right and keep climbing toward the next phone. As you get close, the phone will fall to the floor, and you will fall along with it. When you wake up, you will be back at the desk where you started. Answer the phone one more time, and it will melt away, leaving a Severed Finger for you to take.
