LEGO Legacy Heroes Unboxed E3 2019 Hands-off Preview | Learn and Play with LEGO's Legacy
LEGO Legacy Heroes Unboxed provides an historical look at the LEGO franchise

This year at Gameloft we were able to see 2 games, the first being Asphalt 9: Legends for the Nintendo Switch and next was LEGO Legacy Heroes Unboxed. Unlike the LEGO games from TT Games, this is a free-to-play title focusing more on the legacy of the brand and turn-based RPG combat. I had the chance to see the game in action and it was more informative than I thought.
The entire project contains the legacy of the LEGO pieces. Each set and character are available to the player, with new updates adding more figures and sets. The descriptions provide an extensive look at the history of each figure and set, which as a 90s kid was nostalgic.
The gameplay had players crafting their own team of LEGO figures and face off in turn-based combat. Support, tank, and DPS are all needed to complete each battle, with rarer figures providing more powerful abilities than ordinary ones. There are microtransactions but players can hold their own by building their own team through playing.
LEGO Legacy Heroes Unboxed still has that classic LEGO style. With figures breaking apart, that classic snapping sound of LEGO parts hitting one another, and all the charm that comes with LEGO.
No release date has been provided but LEGO Legacy Heroes Unboxed is set to launch in 2020 for mobile devices.
