Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 2: The Pact ended on a high note. New alliances were forged, enemies were made, and relationships changed. Now Bruce is stuck in the middle of a criminal syndicate and no closer in figuring out their plans. What will happen next? Let's predict episode 3 Fractured Mask.
Catwoman and Bruce Team Up
The finale for episode 2 caught me off guard, I knew Catwoman was going to appear sometime but not like this. Selina was always up to no good but after the events of the first season, you would've assumed she learned not to mess with Gotham's criminals but I guess not. Now she's in a bit of a mess, knowing who Bruce really is and attempting to remain loyal to her employers until she's paid.
It's clear that Selina does this line of work for the money but it's also clear that Bruce intends to stop it. With Selina now part of the Pact it's doubtful that Bruce will not try to recruit her in attempting to figure out their plan. He already betrayed his friends and company to get this far and it's clear he needs help.
New Type of Vemon?
Another massive revelation during the final moments of the episode is that the Bane, Harley, and Mr. Freeze wanted The Riddler's body. It's likely they want the poison that John shot into his body and replicate it. What happened to Riddler was horrifying and it would make sense to keep the body frozen if The Agency wanted to study what killed him. It could be a version of Bane's venom, which was confirmed during the episode to be lethal. Perhaps Riddler was used as a test subject and now they want to see what went wrong and fix the issue.
John is Fooling Everyone
John acts naive, even the other villains don't see him as much. However, at the end of episode 1, we see him taking the shot that killed the Riddler. What if John is slowly trying to eliminate all the powerful powers within Gotham so he can take over? It seems fitting considering the Joker is a master manipulator but here he simply goes with the flow. He always seems offputting but perhaps this is all apart of his plan.
