As you progress further through Chapter 1: Necropolis, you will eventually reach an area that appears to be a dead end. This section involves interacting with a Dweller Statue and triggering a sequence that involves the Monster Baby.

Pulling The Rope

To initiate the event, take control of Alone and strike the Statue’s Head to break it. Doing so will cause a rope to drop down, which will, in turn, pull on the rope connected to the nearby wall in Little Nightmares III.

Once this happens, switch to Low and use the Bow to shoot the Frayed String tied to the wall. This action will immediately ring the bell.

Avoiding Monster Baby

The sound of the Bell will summon Monster Baby to your location. As soon as control is returned to you, move quickly and take cover behind the Crate in the room. Monster Baby will approach, grab the Bell, and then leave the area in Little Nightmares III.

When the area is clear, continue to the right and proceed through the hole that Monster Baby created with its hand to move forward in the chapter.
