Lord Lee Chapter 2

This bit is quite a bit shorter.

 

 

"We have to cross this river."
"OK, but how? None of us are boat builders, Light."
"Can't really build a bridge either."
"And Loin can't swim. None of us can with our armor."
"How long can you hold you breath?"
"What are you getting at Prize?"
"We could walk along the bottom, using our armor to keep us planted. It isn't that far across, so we should be able to make it."
"What about all of our baggage?"
"....Good point."
"Oh well, we tried. Let's head back home."
"We cannot abandon our quest because of a river, Loin."

While the group continues to bicker at each other, an elderly man casually walks across the shallow river, barely getting his knees wet.

"Why did't we think of that?"
"Because Light wants us to do everything the hard way."
"Let us press onward, Sirs."
"One thing I've always wondered, why are we all 'Sirs' and he is 'Knight'?"
"We aren't special enough to have unique titles."
