Madrid...

How are guys and girls ? I hope you are all doing great :)

Not much happened the last few days. If you had checked the previous blog, you would be aware that I was gonna be away for a couple of days, with Marco being the only one possibly guessing correctly my destination :P And that was the shiny and hot these days capital of Spain, Madrid.

I didn't have much time on my disposal, but I managed to visit a couple of nice places starting with

Plaza Mayor

Palacio Real de Madrid

In the shopping area near Grand Via, outside a Real Madrid shop (notice anything strange ?) :P

I generally did some shopping (mostly souvenirs), visited "Corte Ingles" which is a huge shop where you can find absolutely everything in there, got a lovely jersey of the  national team of Spain with Torress's name at the back etc.

I also had some great times in the famous "Museo Del Jamon". The last one really took my heart as they have all kind of meat from all over Spain (and from Argentina I suspect too) in there. A very strange tradition that I came across is the following one : in the first floor those restaurants are like all kinds of restaurants you could see everywhere in the world. But the real stuff takes place in the ground floor. When you finish the food, the waiters don't clean properly... Instead, the throw all the papers and sometimes the leftovers in the ground Surprised And they don't do it because they are bored or anything, but simply to show off their restaurant and make sure the rest of the people outside notice the fact that there's plenty of customers in their restaurant Surprised

Anyway, I didn't have much time to learn much Spanish, I mainly tried to focus on the basics such as "Gracias", "Muchas Gracias", "Vamos", "Salida" and other easy but quite helpful words :P

I hope you liked the pics and thanks for reading :)
