Max Payne 3 Guide | All Chapter One Clues and Golden Gun Parts

Finding every collectible in Max Payne 3 helps you unlock special rewards and learn more about the story. 

In the first chapter, you can find several Golden Gun parts and Clues as you move through the penthouse and the parking garage. Here is how to find all five items in the order they appear.

The Penthouse Collectibles

The first two items are in the very first area where you fight. After the game teaches you how to use Bullet Time and the shoot-dodge, do not go through the exit door yet in Max Payne 3.

Instead, walk past it and look at the floor by the window to find the first part of the Golden PT92. Once you have that, look at the coffee table in the middle of the same room. You will see a Celebrity Magazine there. Read it to log your first Clue before you head outside onto the porch.

The Office Area

After the cinematic where Max slides down the roof to save a hostage, you will find yourself inside a dark office. Walk past the large circular desk in the center of the room in Max Payne 3.

Go toward the windows on the right side. You will find the second part of the Golden PT92 tucked into a corner between two pillars. Make sure you grab this before following your partner into the next area.

The Parking Garage

The final two items are near the end of the chapter. Once you press the green button to open the gates in the parking garage, walk into the next section. Stay on the right side of the room and check the corner on the ground to find the third and final part of the Golden PT92. 

After picking up the gun part, walk toward the exit ramp. You will see a Dropped Photo lying on the ground on your way up. Inspect it to collect the final Clue for this level in Max Payne 3.
