Microsoft has decided to cut down the cost of an Xbox Gold annual subscription from $60 down to only $40. It is unclea whether this is a temporary promotion- or a more permanent change. Whichever it is, you'll want to take advantage!

For the annual $40 you will get an Xbox Live Subscription- which can be used on bth Xbox 360 or One, allowing you to play with and compete against fellow users. You can also download a specially featured free game each month, and get 50-75% discounts on other games sold in the Xbox store.
