Multiple Quote (Updated)

Hey

I've noticed that Notifications for Multiple Quote is working perfectly :) So from now on, more than 1 people can be mentioned in a single comment & that'll send notifications to each & everyone that have been mentioned :)

So I'd like to repeat some of the facts that Tanya already has mentioned on her last blog & of course I'll add some new ones :) that I've found doing some Tests :D

 

> You cannot use any SPACE in between "@" & "user name"

e.g. "@ biZZy" won't work but "@biZZy" will :)

 

> Usernames are not case sensitive & so you can write as you like :D

e.g. "@biZZy", "@BIzzY", "@bizzy", "@BIZZY" all of these will work nicely :) But needless to say that you cannot write "@Moroes" instead of "@-Moroes-" LOL in fact "Moroes" is another ID here :P

 

> Use of a colon ( : ) is NOT MUST while commenting. You can use it or you can avoid using colon too :) I'm not sure about the use of HYPHENS ( - ). If anyone wants then I can do some tests again & let him/her know :)

But there is a very important fact & that is, if you use COLON then there has to atleast a SPACE before (left) or after (right) the COLON. Using 2 SPACES (one left to colon & another to right) will also do just fine :)

So "@bizzy: Your comment", "@bizzy :Your comment", "@bizzy : Your comment" all will do

but "@bizzy:Your comment" won't :P

As I said avoiding COLON is also working & so "@bizzy Your comment" will also send notification.

But "@bizzyYour comment" won't !! SPACE is a MUST :D

 

> DO NOT use TEXT SMILEYS I repeat text smiles only while you're mentioning more than 1 member in a comment. But using smileys from the New Editor Smiley Box won't hurt :P If you use text smileys then the system will only send 1 notification to the user you mentioned first

 

> DO NOT edit comments too much because each editing will send 1 more notification to each of the members those have been mentioned. So you better off be sure before clicking the SUBMIT button. But if you mention someone in a wrong way & then edit it to perfection then notifications will be sent. Previously it was like if you do it wrong editing won't work :P

 

> You can see notifications over your or others' profile only if you are visiting the profile BY CLICKING USER ID. That means if you are visiting a profile having a blog opened WITH COMMENTS you won't see any notification. Of course you'll see the "More >>" Button & clicking it will do :)

 

> Notifications are reaching profiles in NO TIME at all. You click the submit button & notifications will be there right away :)

Well I said on my previous blog that my next blog would be of 1 Iron Maiden song. Actually my plan was to post a blog of that song but FetusZero gave me an awesome idea to write a blog on the band. & I thought why not?

You can always find almst all the infos about Iron Maiden over the internets in differnt sites or directly from www.ironmaiden.com. So I'll try to keep the Biography of the band & history as short as possible. Iron Maiden is just not a band, you'll know what it really means :P I'll post my favourite Numbers of Iron Maiden, Band Line-Up, all their album titles & MISCONCEPTIONS about the band. & of course there will be one youtube video track of them.

 

Oh & I've just taken a snapshot :P
