Even if you don't read the main part of this blog, PLEASE scroll down to the large paragraph near the bottom. The one that starts with "EDIT:".
Possible details on the newest game in the Legend of Zelda series for the Wii. Some of this may be old news, but just stick with me on this one.
Let me start by saying this is just a rumor. It is claimed to have been leaked, but we can't be sure. The source website (2chan), however, has provided accurate early details for countless other games, so the following points seem legit. Here goes.
The new game will not follow the same basic formula from the other games (field, dungeon, field, dungeon, repeat). This point was confirmed by one of the game's makers.
You can choose which of your hands is dominant. Link will have the same dominant hand as you.
Gameplay is, for the most part, complete. Most of the story is, too. Guess this means we'll be getting some details soon.
Some character models have been completely overhauled and redesigned.
The girl seen in the teaser picture is not, as some people (myself included) surmised, the Master Sword. Her name is Aderu (rough translation), and she's your sidekick for the game (like Navi, Tatl, Midna, etc.). The main difference between her and the others is that she isn't with you nearly as often.
Speaking of your sword, Link's main sword will have a number of different abilities, one of which is allowing you to communicate with Aderu.
Epona, Link's horse, is back, and there will be some more horseback combat.
Here's the biggest ones;
Time travel will play a large role in the game. In addition, this Link is referred to as the "Hero of Time", a title that has only been applied to the Link from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. To top it all off, like Majora's Mask, this game does not take place in Hyrule. These details point to a possible sequel to Majora's Mask.
I know a lot of you aren't Zelda fans (for some reason I don't understand), but for those who are, what do you think?
EDIT: We need your help! A new site has surfaced from the Cheezburger Network (the creators of I Can Has Cheezburger, Failblog, etc.), called Bob's House of Video Games. It is a site for humorous captions of gaming pictures. So far, they have 53 pictures, and a massive 15 of them have been stolen DIRECTLY from Halolz.com. Normally not a big deal, but 99% of Halolz pictures have been created and captioned by Halolz users themselves, myself included. BHOVG has also been removing the Halolz watermarks from the pictures, either by cropping them out, putting their own watermarks in front of it, or simply erasing them (see the differences between here and here for proof). Cheezburger Network has stated that they have been investigating, but there has been no attempt so far to even credit Halolz or the original artists. Tell your friends, anyone you know who visits Cheezburger Network's sites, and anyone that may care. We need to stop this. You can see this forum thread for us Halolz users' reactions and a full list of stolen pics.
Also, sorry to put it so blatantly, but eveything on that site is complete crap. They also took mostly bad Halolz submissions.
