Most improved: The most improved team after week 3 going into 4, was the Cincinnati Bengals coming off of a win against former Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers and have been looking great and now have a total record of 2-1 sitting at the 13th spot in the power rankings.
Biggest drop: Coincidentally, the biggest decline in the rankings went to the team on the other side of the game mentioned above. The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped a total of 9 spots now sitting at 16th. Not to mention they started out week 1 as #1.
What to Watch For:
- Green Bay vs. Minnesota: We all know this is a big game, and for me the game of the week to watch. For the first time in history Brett Favre will be playing against the team he spent so many years with, and you know the Packers defense is anxious to get a shot at him. Not only does the game carry drama, but this Monday Night should provide a close game. The Packers are doing well at 2-1 with the only loss coming from the surprising Bengals team, and the Vikings are at 3-0 but haven't faced too much of a challenge through 3 weeks.
- Can the Titans recover? Last year Tennessee was one of the powerhouse teams in the entire league, but they have opened up 2009 with a dismal start, now at 0-3. They have looked pitiful for the most part and just uncharacteristic compared to the team from a year ago. In week 4 they will be facing a team towards the bottom of these power rankings in Jacksonville. One thing is sure, if the Titans can't pull away with this one, they're in big trouble.
- Can Ravens remaind a dominant team? While it's still very, very early, it's almost been clear through three weeks that the Ravens are the top dog in the AFC. They seem an unlikely candidate so it will be interesting to see if they will look as good as they have in past weeks throughout the season even with the young Joe Flacco at the helm. They wil definitely be challenged this week with a game against the New England Patriots.
