It hasn't been a week and already a major exploit has been discovered in No Man's Sky, this one allows you to duplicate items.
No Man's Sky is all about exploring the vast universe in search of alien life, and to do this you'll need a lot of resources. Your ship, multitool, and exosuit doesn't run on fun after all.
Players unwilling to dedicated a lot of their time doing this have found a new way to copy resources, especially when rare items are needed like Atlas Stones.
Proceed at your own risk.
Alright to perform the glitch you'll need to fill up your ship's inventory with what you want to copy. Next save the game twice for backup purposes.
No Man's Sky death system allows' players to reclaim items after respawning, similar to Dark Souls or Minecraft. All you have to do is get killed, reload a save file, and follow the wavepoint to your corpse. Not only will you get to keep the items in your save but the ones on your corpse and the items in your ship.
It's without a doubt that Hello Games will patch this glitch asap so get farming now if you want to maximize your rare items.
No Man's Sky is now available for PS4 and will release on PC tomorrow.
