Phil Fish says "Not Xbox"

In an interview with Polygon, Phil Fish, has reported that Fez 2 will not be coming to Xbox. For those who don’t know the relationship between Polytron and Microsoft became bitter after Fez’s release in 2012, when a patch corrupted saved files. After being pulled by Microsoft Polytron was faced with a re-certifying patch fee that was to expensive to pay and left it the way it was.

Fish didn’t reveal what platforms that Fez 2 will be on but he did state that the “PS4 is doing everything right†and that "It's too early to tell how everything is going to unfold but their heart definitely seems to be in the right place. Which is a weird thing to say when talking about giant monolithic corporation, but there's a handful of people working at Sony today who are really trying to do some good. And whether or not I would develop for it comes down to how the platform holder treats me. With Microsoft they've made it painfully clear they don't want my ilk on their platform. I can't even self-publish there. Whereas on PS4, I can. It's that simple. Microsoft won't let me develop for their console. But Sony will.".

Fish gave little information about Fez 2 other that it will expand on the first game's world.
